"Everybody Knows somebody That Knows SomeBody"...

DRperiod AkA SomeBody is a 24 year old rapper/prducer from Savannah,Ga. He started rapping in 2004 at age 15 with local southside rap group S.O.T.G.(Stay On The Grind) with other members Maal Walker, Tony Skees, and Bubba Lo Calione just to name a members of the hip hop super group.Before any major project was completed DR was forced to relocate to Lawton, Oklahoma because of family complications.This is when he started to take his talent to the next level.... 

          Arriving in Lawton, DR met fellow rapper / producer In 2 Deep. Along with another Ga. Rapper Bt DA Youngsta they formed another rap group We ALL WE GOT which would later turn into Half Dead Ent. Throughout his 2 remainding years in highschool the group won talent contests and changed the way alot of artist  in the city did music. In his Senior year DR and In 2 DEEp met Texas, an upcoming rapper fresh out the pennitentiary with a plan for getting to the top. Texas talked his way into  studio after studio and DR and In 2 Deep started to gain recognition as forces to be reckoned with. After they graduated they started to tour in Oklahoma City doing songs with artist such as Nitro, Presidential Traphouse, and Jelly Roll. Not even old enough to get in but shutting clubs down. In the prime of is career DR had to take a break nd go home to welcome the birth of his first born. With the pressure of not getting rap money , not working , and having a new baby , DR hit the streets which would later result in him having to sit down for 10 months as property of the state. When released from BJCC DR and long time friend P.Nics started promoting parties, wild parties that would be talked about for years. Seeing the crowd and hosting the parties made Dr miss the life of performing . So what did he do? Got back on it.

           In 2010 DR teamed back up with In 2 Deep and fellow Ga. Rapper Po Boy and formed the group P.I.R., or Partnaz In Rhyme. Po Boy taught them how to ball. He showed them how to get oney and put them on. He was like the big brother of the group. Still trying to make it big DR left the fast life of clubbing and selling drugs to move back to Savannah to try  to further push the groups musc. His plans were to keep recording group songs while  In 2 Deep puhed them in Oklahoma, Po Boy pushed them in Alabama and He pushed them in Georgia. The plan was short lived because Po Boy ended up being indicted on drug and gun poesession charges. With DR  in Ga he was back on his grind alone, never forgetting his roots or the message that he was trying to deliver when he first started. STAY ON THE GRIND....(2 b continued...)
